Due to Covid19 I am now offering a full rota of online classes. There is a mix of styles of yoga on offer as well as a variety of times to suit your needs. The current circumstance of humanity means we need yoga more than ever and you can practice in the comfort of your own home with me online. Please see my class timetable for more information.
A traditional well rounded class. The focus is a combining of Hatha and Vinyassa Yoga. In this session I combine Pranayama (yoga breathing) Asana (yoga postures) and Relaxation/Mediation. This class is beginner/intermediate and caters to the needs of all students including those new to yoga or experienced yogis alike.
A strong athletic based class involving strength based yoga moves. The pace of the class is fast and muscles will be challenged in a variety of strong postures. If you prefer your yoga session to make you sweat then this is the class for you. Relaxation at the end will help to calm the mind after this challenging session. Suitable for students who are fit and injury free.
A Hatha based yoga class that has extra emphasis on the muscles of the back and hips. During this session we work to strengthen, lengthen are releases these muscles. By allowing extra focus on these areas this is a restorative class which brings a relief in pain and a feeling of well being both physically and emotionally. Be sure to have a yoga strap (belt or scarf) ready to use as an aid for this class. Suitable for all levels.
Yoga just for Men! This course is designed to take guys who have not done yoga before and teach you classical Hatha yoga. In each class you will learn step by step the principals of asana (yoga postures), pranayama (yoga breathing), and meditation. This will give you a well rounded introduction to yoga in order to help you feel better both physically and mentally.
This yoga class combines Hath and Vinyassa styles seamlessly. The focus is on moving the body to feel good. We work on a flow sequence that will help to reduce stress and tension to leave the session feeling good. A well rounded class with a few extra minutes of relaxation at the end so you feel rejuvenated and ready to enjoy the weekend ahead. Suitable for all levels.
The original and most traditional style of yoga. This is my favourite to teach and I love the fact the class can be tailored to the needs of the group and very creative. It involves Pranayama, Asana and Sivasana. A strong class on a Saturday morning is good for those who have tried yoga before or practice regularly.
Yoga can be practised solely through Pranayama (breathing) and Meditation. This 30 minute session will give you breathing techniques to cleanse and revitalise the body. We also do some contemplation to ignite positivity of mind. Meditation is used to clear the mind of anxiety and bring us into a state of both physical and emotional calm. A perfect class if you are looking to deepen your practice and change the way you feel.
Join me in this session to harness the energy of the new moon. We will be using breath work, meditation & intention setting to create a more positive future. No physical yoga done, you will need a comfortable place to sit, a pen & paper. Session is just 30 minutes long.
